Walking around Vilnius one can notice restaurated old buildings with miscellaneous shaped windows through the new layer of plaster to the original wall. The shapes and locations of these revealings make me wonder, and remind me also fragments of frescoes in museums that are removed from their origins. In the series painted on old pillowcases with soil from Dzūkija region, these missing pieces and wall openings are merging, decoding the messages of masons, restorers and time.
